A rare opportunity has come to the market for a talented Biostatistician at one of the World Leading Pharmaceutical Companies located in Home Counties, UK.

 

For this long contract (12 Months) the rate on offer is up to 60£/hour (100.000£ - 110.000£ over 12 months). The role is exclusively Office Based at the client cutting edge facility located in UK's beautiful Home Counties.

 

Among your main responsibilities for this role:

 

• Providing statistical support across all stages of the clinical lifecycle, from planning and study design, to ongoing study management, final reporting and submission for publication

 

• Liaising with CROs on outsourced projects

 

• Providing statistical expertise and consultancy to colleagues in R&D and across the wider business when required

 

• Supervising junior members of the team, and presenting updates and results to colleagues and senior managers.

 

• Pharmaceutical industry experience

 

• Working knowledge of clinical trial design and statistical procedures, demonstrated understanding of clinical trial data flow and regulatory requirements, coding techniques and statistical software (SAS preferably, STATA, R)

 

• Understanding of CDISC STDM and ADaM standards

 

• Good team spirit and the ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
