WHOS (We Help Ourselves) is looking for the services of an Assistant Manager for the Opioid Treatment Program Therapeutic Communities

An exciting opportunity exists to lead dynamic therapeutic teams within a large NGO community based organisation.

WHOS® Opioid Treatment Therapeutic Communities (TC's) OSTAR® and RTOD® services operate modified residential TC's  for individuals wishing to withdraw from or stabilise on their Opioid Substitution Treatment within the beautiful grounds of Broughton Hall, Lilyfield, NSW.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person to provide service coordination under the direction of the manager.


The role requires effective communication and team work skills to work collaboratively within a team environment and experience in case management, training and supervision of staff Further requirements include overseeing the therapeutic program,   experience in working with substance abuse/mental health clients in particular clients with complex needs.

Additional experience required with informational management systems, strong administration skills, written communication skills to write reports and oversee the maintenance of client records.

Qualifications

*       Related qualifications and minimum 3 years experience in the AOD field with expertise in coordinating services and working with a multidisciplinary team

*       And/or Tertiary university qualification in related discipline



*       Sound knowledge of harm reduction strategies

*       Demonstrated experience working with opioid treatment and complex needs clients

*       Current drivers licence

*       Current first aid certificate


Remuneration: Subject to funding and negotiated based on qualifications and experience equivalent to SCHDS Award. Salary packaging applies. Applicants required to undergo a Police Record Check.
