Dear all, If your research interests are along the lines of work-life balance, digital technologies, new ways of working or human-computer interaction, this event in June organised by the Balance Network might be of interest to you: Invitation to symposium on work-life balance and the impacts of digital technologies: “Beyond Balance”, Mon 27th June, London. (http://balancenetwork.bimserver2.com/index.php/events/item/52-beyond-balance) The Balance Network (http://balancenetwork.bimserver2.com/) is a network of academics and practitioners exploring work-life balance in the digital age. We are delighted to also welcome postgraduate students to our event this summer. At Beyond Balance we are bringing together a community of academics and industry experts to discuss the future of living and working in a digital age, and feedback on eight activities we have funded across 16 UK universities over the past six months. Our keynotes are Oliver Burkeman (Guardian columnist, author of ‘This column will save your life’) and Claire Fox (Int’l HR Director at Save the Children, author of ‘Work-Life Symbiosis’).
