First Campus wants to understand more about barriers around engaging with the STEM subjects experienced by First Campus schools, pupils and the practitioners who work with them. We've already consulted with teachers, will be consulting with pupils but would like to find out more about any barriers that STEM practitioners experience when working with First Campus schools. To develop this questionnaire we worked with a group of practitioners who identified a series of barriers to engagement, related these to their experiences with First Campus schools and then developed this questionnaire. This is absolutely not about blaming schools, and at no time are you asked to name any schools, this is about identifying the barriers so we can hopefully identify some solutions and improve engagement with STEM.
