Aimed at non-professional science writers, entrants are invited to write a 700-word article about *“the next big thing in science.” The closing date is 24 June 2016. For more information go to www.uwe.ac.uk/sciencewriting <http://www.uwe.ac.uk/sciencewriting>* There is a separate category for writers aged under 18, and there are no restrictions on where writers are resident*. *Published writers (professional journalists and anyone else who writes for money) are excluded from entering the competition.
