Postdoctoral Position in Physical/Atmospheric Chemistry (Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health/HRI)



A highly motivated postdoctoral researcher is sought to study optical and reactive properties of water vapor of relevance to atmospheric radiation and cloud physics & chemistry.  This will be a newly funded project by US National Science Foundation with an expected starting date of June 1, 2016.  Ph.D. in physical/atmospheric chemistry or related field is required. The project involves modifying a cavity ring-down setup, conducting experimental studies, analyzing experimental results, and writing papers for publication.  Prior experience in laser spectroscopy is preferred.
