Can anyone suggest a translation of "ARMARIUS" ? In context it appears to be
the title of one of the Obedientaries or Office-Bearers in a Religious
House. I cannot find it in my Latin dictionaries but since the usual name
for a treasurer is Thesaurus, I was wondering if armarius might not
translate Wardrober or Sacristan ?
Any ideas or / and references appreciated.
