Dear All,
It's that exam time of year again and I was looking for a suitable Chinese expression to get the students a little more fired up when they come back to school tomorrow. I was thinking of that old gym slogan, "No pain, no gain" The only translation I could find is
不劳则无获 which is a bit too 文言, don't you think? Can anyone suggest an equivalent that's got more frequent-use vocabulary or sentence patterns in it?
Hope you've all had restful breaks,
加油 for the term ahead!
