*Are you a CILIP or a UKeiG member who wants to be active on a committee? Now is your chance to join the management committee of UKeiG, a special interest group of CILIP with over 1300 members.* We promote and advance the effective exploitation and management of electronic information and digital resources, and offer a wide range of resources including training events and our quarterly publication, eLucidate. UKeiG’s management committee meets four or five times a year and is supported by two administrators and collaborative working platforms. We work in small groups focusing on activities ranging from the creation of great new training and networking events, providing a range of awards and bursaries to information professionals and students, to commissioning content for our website and eNewsletter. This year in particular we are looking to appoint new committee members for the following roles: • Deputy Treasurer • Web site lead • Awards Co-Ordinator • Publications Co-Ordinator & Current Awareness Bulletin editor If you would be interested in joining us please contact John Wickenden (email: [log in to unmask]).
