Last night's Antiques Uncovered on BBC Four included a piece about globes and included a visit to Greaves & Thomas, the wonderful globe makers on the Isle of Wight. I think the later piece about the postcards of Donald McGill was recorded in The Orrery Café, which is part of the same building.
