Course Details
The overall aim of this two day course is to help delegates to design and deliver induction sessions that are engaging, interactive and memorable.
It is aimed at anyone that is involved in delivering large or small group inductions that are designed to introduce your service to students or staff.
Day One – Designing the Session
Content:

deciding what you want people to remember and selecting the right content

choosing the most appropriate way to deliver that content
-
looking at a range of interactive methods and how to use them

reviewing examples from a number of different organisations
-
using visual aids in an imaginative way
-
working with large groups
-
developing impact and presence and handling nerves
Day Two – Delivering the Session
Content:
-
delivery of part of an induction session
-
feedback from peers and facilitators on areas of strength and areas for development

development of an action plan
