We are looking for a student in their penultimate year of an undergraduate degree programme, which includes content on Remote Sensing and / or GIS. You will have a well-developed sense of spatial awareness and be committed to a career in Geomatics and / or the environmental sector.

The Internship provides a fantastic opportunity to put your academic skills and knowledge into practise through solid and relevant work experience. Your placement year will be spent in our Bath office, within a small team, where you will gain valid and relevant exposure to a wide range of Geomatics activities, whilst supporting the delivery and analysis of high quality Geographic Information System (GIS) ready products derived from remote sensing techniques. Your personal and professional development will be gained through job shadowing, on the job work experience and challenging assignments.

Of course, you’ll have our full support throughout: as well as being supported by your team leader, a Geomatics expert who'll oversee your work, you’ll have an independent mentor. They’ll be around to answer any questions, pass on their knowledge and experience and help you become the best Geomatics Analyst you can.

We offer a competitive package with a range of benefits and the opportunity to make a real difference to the environment. On return to university your real life practice and experience will contribute to and enhance your academic knowledge and understanding, providing you with the foundation for a rewarding and exciting career.
