Can I ask you to draw the following ad to the attention of any potential candidates?


"The University of Bristol seeks to appoint a temporary full-time Teaching Fellow in German Language from 1 September 2016 to 30 June 2017.  

German Studies is an integral part of a dynamic and forward-looking School of Modern Languages in the Faculty of Arts. German language is studied by highly qualified and well-motivated undergraduates either as a mandatory part of a Single Honours degree, as part of a Joint Honours degree in with another modern language or as part of a Joint Honours degree with another subject.   German language is also is also taught to non-specialists as well as specialists as an option to students from all Faculties of the University. 

The Teaching Fellow in German language will be expected to contribute flexibly across the full range of language teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. S/he will also support the language team in Modern Languages in the development of the most up-to-date teaching methods and materials and the dissemination of good teaching practice, and will make an administrative contribution to language-related activities.  

The successful candidate will have native or near native competence in German and English, and is likely to have both a relevant postgraduate qualification and  experience of language teaching, ideally in the HE sector.

Interviews will be held in the week commencing 23 May 2016.
