Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce Nick Ellerby's Seminar on Creating the Workplace of Tomorrow: Exploring what Collaborative Leadership Means for the School of Geography, scheduled for Monday 9 May 2016, 4-5PM, followed by refreshments. Directions below.

Nick Ellerby has been invited to engage with us about the latest transformative models of organisational change especially around ideas of collaborative leadership, peer-based organisations and what the workplace of tomorrow could look like. We encourage all staff, researchers and postgraduates to attend to explore these ideas with Ellerby in the spirit of generating debate to inform the future governance of the School of Geography. Despite the focus on the local workspace, the topic is of wider interest and we therefore also invite peers and students across institutions a warm welcome. The Seminar will be hosted by Prof Paul Chatterton.

Nick Ellerby has worked in commercial, public, third-sector and hybrid organisational contexts, with experience of working in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. He is lead co-facilitator on a range of longer-term programmes including Whole Person Facilitating and the Global Innovation Collaboratory. He is author of The Seven Stage Model, Peering into the Future, Working Relationships for the 21st Century: A Guide to Authentic Collaboration, and Discovering the Temperaments. Ellerby can be reached at [log in to unmask]
