Dear all, you may be aware that there is political turmoil in Brazil with aggressive measures from a combination of forces (mainstream media, big corporations, right wing parties) attempting to subvert the democratic regime and oust President Dilma Russef. Here is a link to a statement in support of democracy and the president from academics at Middlesex University that has been undersigned by other academics and social forces in the UK. If you agree, please share widely.
Thank you!
