Intermediate and Advanced Courses in R – May 2016

 

The ESRC funded Consumer Data Research Centre is pleased to offer the following R courses taught by Lex Comber, Professor of Spatial Analytics, and Research Fellow, Dr Robin Lovelace, both of the University of Leeds:

 

May 26th, 2016

Intermediate R and the basics of R as a GIS http://store.leeds.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=2&catid=47&prodid=668

Timings: 9.00 am-5.00pm.

Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Prerequisites: Prior experience of R is highly recommended.

 

May 27th, 2016

Advanced R for spatial analysis http://store.leeds.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=2&catid=47&prodid=667

Timings: 9.00 am -5.00pm.

Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Prerequisites: Working knowledge of R and R Studio is assumed.

 

Venue: Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA), level 11, Worsley Building, University of Leeds, Leeds LS2 9JT.

Fees: £60 for UK registered postgraduate students; £100 for academics/staff at Institutes of Higher Education, public sector staff and staff at registered charity organisations. £200 others.
