Thanks David.

I really can see the BINARY.setup. Will you please tell me the command to run the BINARY.setup?

Dear Smith,

If you downloaded and unpacked one of the large bundles then you need to run BINARY.setup, found inside the directory ccp4-7.0/, which will create the setup files in bin/

If however you install using the recommended package manager this step is automatically done for you.

Best wishes

Dear All,

For the newly installed CCP4 7.0, there is really no ccp4.setup-csh and ccp4.setup-sh.

I have just installed the CCP4 7.0 with and without SHELX, neither can find the ccp4.setup-csh and ccp4.setup-sh?

Is any bug?

I am looking forward to getting your reply.

Hi Smith,

That file is in the bin directory. It should be ccp4-7.0/bin/ccp4.setup-sh or ccp4.setup-csh

Thanks,

Dear All,

For CCP4 6.5, in order to use CCP4 in a directory we can do "source /path to cc4-6.5/bin/ccp4.setup-csh'. But for CCP 7.0, it seems there is no ccp4.setup-csh in the CCP4 bin directory.

Will you please tell me how to source CCP4 in a directory for use the CCP4 programmes?
