We are looking for two postdocs to work within a multidisciplinary project “Evolution of new genes and proteins” at Uppsala University, Sweden. The project is financed by the Wallenberg foundation and aims to understand how structure and function are intertwined in the evolution of new proteins. The successful candidates should have an excellent track record and experience in X-ray crystallography and/or biophysical techniques (for example NMR spectroscopy, kinetics, thermodynamics) as well as protein expression and purification. The project involves extensive collaboration with geneticists, bioinformaticians and computational biochemists.
