Hi All, Does anyone have experience of using cell-free translation systems. If so I have a few questions. Are they cost effective for producing sufficient protein for crystallisation studies? Which is the cheapest to implement? We are also interested in producing some membrane proteins in liposomes; are the various systems (wheat, e.coli) suitable for this?
