Ddoe yn Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Caerdydd cyflwynodd y 160ain Frigâd (Gymreig), mewn partneriaeth ag Amgueddfa Cymru, Cangen De Cymru o Gymdeithas Ffrynt y Gorllewin, ac eraill, gynlluniau ar gyfer Coffâd Cenedlaethol Cymru yng Nghoed Mametz, Ffrainc. Ar 7 Gorffennaf 2016 cynhelir Gwasanaeth Coffa Cenedlaethol wrth ymyl y Gofeb i’r 38ain Adran (Gymreig) ger Coed Mametz, lle lladdwyd neu anafwyd tua 4,000 o Gymry yn ystod cyfnod cynnar Brwydr y Somme.

At National Museum Cardiff yesterday the 160th (Wales) Brigade, in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, the South Wales Branch of the Western Front Association and others presented plans for the Welsh National Commemoration at Mametz Wood, France. On 7 July 2016 a National Service of Remembrance will take place at the Memorial to the 38th (Welsh) Division at Mametz Wood, where some 4,000 men died or were injured during the early stages of the Battle of the Somme.
 
If you would like to attend the remembrance service in France you will need to register beforehand by providing the full names, dates of birth and passport numbers of all drivers and passengers as well as the vehicle registration number.  Please send the details by 13 May at the latest to: [log in to unmask].
