Dear allstat, Applications are invited for a position in Statistics at Lecturer (Assistant Professor), Senior Lecturer/Reader (Associate Professor) level University of Bath, Mathematical Sciences Salary: Grade 8 (Lecturer): £38,896 rising to £46,414 Grade 9 (Senior Lecturer/Reader): £47,801 rising to £55,389 Closing Date: Friday 22 April 2016 Interview Date: 17th/18th May 2016 Reference: FY3846 The Department invites applications from excellent candidates for a position in Statistics. Applications are welcome in any area of Statistics that complements and enhances existing activity at Bath. A successful applicant at Senior Lecturer/Reader Level (roughly equivalent to Associate Professor) will have an outstanding track record of independent research of international standing. At Lecturer level (roughly equivalent to Assistant Professor), a successful applicant will have shown exceptional potential for achieving such research excellence. The appointee will be expected to sustain a leading research programme, and to be active in developing and submitting competitive applications for external funding. Candidates should also have a strong interest in pursuing excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and in supervising graduate students.
