*Lectureship position at Télécom Lille (France)*

*Research Activities*

The candidate will join the SIGMA team (*SIGnal, Models and Applications) *of
the CNRS CRIStAL laboratory (*Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal
et Automatique de Lille*). The applicant is expected to bring expertise in
statistical signal processing.


S/he must have strong commitment to excellence in research in one or
several of the following areas: statistical modelisation and estimation,
Bayesian inference, Monte Carlo methods, statistical learning, inverse
problems, information security...


*Teaching activities*


The candidate will participate in the different lectures associated to the
Communication Systems Department. In particular, s/he will teach in the
areas of probability/statistics, signal processing (theory, digital signal
processor), and estimation applied to digital communications.

The applicant will participate in the coordination of some courses -
advising and mentoring students is also expected.

The appointment for this Institut Mines-Télécom position at (possibly
senior) lecturer level can begin as soon as September 1st, 2016. Salary is
competitive and commensurate with experience.
