The Young Statisticians Meeting (YSM2016) is an opportunity for career-young statisticians (within the first 10 years of their statistical career) to exhibit their work, discuss ideas and network with their peers in a friendly and encouraging environment. It is a fantastic opportunity to foster connections and gain information about statistical work across all sectors. It is being held between August 17th and 19th at University College London.

 

The early-bird registration deadline is 30th April, register here: http://www.ysm2016.co.uk/register/, at a bargain price of £210 including accommodation (£140 without). You will get evening entertainment, breakfast, a boat cruise on the Thames and the opportunity to listen to talks and debates from, and engage with, five eminent statisticians attending the event:

- Professor Patrick Wolfe.
