Many thanks for the sage advice from my esteemed colleagues and for resolving the problem. Off to anonymise some samples J

Dear Collective UK Brain,

I would like to ask your advice on evaluating tests where we do not have enough routine requests and would wish to use other samples from patients to increase the numbers tested.

Clearly, the required tests were not part of the original request from the clinician and we would have problems adding tests directly onto the request. However, would it be acceptable to fully anonymise samples and use them as a service evaluation resource?

Any thoughts, especially with evidence I can use to justify this practice would be much appreciated.
