Dear Colleagues,

IWM (Imperial War Museums) is seeking to appoint an evaluator to assess the impact of the Battle of the Somme film screenings as part of the First World War Centenary Partnership Programme delivered by cultural and educational member organisations across the UK from 1 July 2016 to the 15 July 2017.

The study will need to:

• Research and analyse the impact of the Battle of the Somme film on audiences today, using a representative sample in the English Regions and the Home Nations.
• Assess whether audiences attending a screening or another activity developed a deeper understanding or interest of the FWW, its impact and relevance.
• Assess whether audiences attending a screening or another activity were aware of:
• The FWWC Partnership
• IWM and our Film Archive

• Help inform future initiatives.
• Inform us whether the screenings as a programme of activity has had any impact within the FWW Centenary Partnership Programme.

The budget for this work is around £8,500.

The deadline for a response is  5 PM on Sunday 3 April 2016.
