Hi, Eklund et al's 2015 IEEE Biomed Imaging paper comparing SPM 8, FSL 5 and a version of AFNI, showed that using SPM 8 for single-subject analyses of resting state fMRI data can lead to fairly high false positive rates. They attributed this to SPM8's simpler noise model. How does SPM 12 compare? We are trying to settle on the most appropriate analysis tool to facilitate analysis of single-case fMRI studies.
