Hi Jo,
Found this in my inbox too - seem like good tips!

Hi Ros,

Adam Carstens and John Beck advise those developing courses for the Millennial generation to design training which:

  1. Lacks any hint of formal instruction
  2. Leans heavily on trial-and-error
  3. Includes lots of learning from peers and virtually none from authority figures
  4. Is bite-sized and consumed just before putting into practise
  5. Provides for risk-taking in a safe environment
  6. Provides a skill which is both meaningful and perceived as having value

Sound extreme or hard to implement? According to Eric and Loredana Werth, it’s easy, as long as you’re using one key ingredient: educational games. We happen to agree, and wanted to let you know that Bluehat Develops is a new training provider specialising in the leadership development of millennials through live game-play and workshops. If you’d like to understand how game-based learning would develop your millennials please drop me a reply or give one of our team of experts a call on 020 3551 2050 - we'd be delighted to discuss our methodology in more detail.

Dear All

Would anyone be able to suggest a trainer who delivers a Leadership Development session around managing different generations in the workplace? We are specifically looking at how to develop generation Y leaders and potentially thought to the future generation Z; their attitude towards motivation, career development and their requirements of the workplace.

I am happy to collate and pass on if anyone else would find this information useful.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best wishes
