I should add that while CMU School of Design has initiated the development of the practice of Transition Design, other institutions are now also advancing the discourse, for instance The University of Palermo, Buenos Aires Eina School of Design and Art, Barcelona and Schumacher College/Plymouth University, UK. A Symposium on Transition Design will be held at Schumacher a week or so before DRS: https://www.schumachercollege.org.uk/events/transition-design-symposium <https://www.schumachercollege.org.uk/events/transition-design-symposium> Unrelated to CMU, NTNU recently advertised for a Professor in Transition Design: https://www.jobbnorge.no/ledige-stillinger/stilling/121633/professor-associate-professor-in-transition-design-at-the-department-of-product-design-norwegian-university-of-science-and-technology-ivt-34-16 Cameron > On Mar 20, 2016, at 8:55 PM, Don Norman <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > > CMUs attempt to rethink > "transition" design ----------------------------------------------------------------- PhD-Design mailing list <[log in to unmask]> Discussion of PhD studies and related research in Design Subscribe or Unsubscribe at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/phd-design -----------------------------------------------------------------
