With apologies for cross posting.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts to two-day symposium Music Composition as Interdisciplinary Practice (University of York 28-29 June 2016) has been extended to Monday 4th April any time up to midnight. Notification of acceptance will now be given by Friday 29th April.

Presentations by scholars, practitioner-researchers and from disciplines beyond Music are welcomed.

Three types of session may be proposed:

Paper (20 minutes)
Lecture-performance (30 minutes)
Workshop (30 minutes)

Please note that there are no ‘in-house’ performers available so proposals involving performance will need to be self-supported.

Full details of the symposium are available here: http://goldenpages.jpehs.co.uk/2015/12/01/music-composition-as-interdisciplinary-practice/

The keynote presentation will be delivered my Milton and Alex Mermikides.

Best wishes
