Dear Dr. Zbiral, thank you for your attention to my modest work.
My task was:
- to publish the unknown in its completeness version of “Secret book” of Bogomils included in Doat collection. Due to the courtesy of the Department of manuscripts of National Library, Paris, I succeeded to publish even a facsimile of the text. This manuscript, as you say, has been mentioned (signalée), but not studied and fully presented. So, it was unknown (inconnu) as integral text,
- to make a detailed comparative analysis of this text (not done till now) with the versions of Carcassonne and Vienna.This comparison was my raison to suppose that the “Secret book” of Doat collection is a prototext, that means previous (and fullest) to the Carcassone and Vienna versions. Of course, any step in a new matter has its risk of some faults, omissions. It could happen to me. But I am affraid the complementary information you are offering is aside of the essence of this research.

the expanded online edition of Krăstina Gecheva’s bibliography is very welcome, thank you for sharing the news. My online bibliography on Christian heresy is poorer when it comes to Bogomilism, and having Gecheva’s book online is very practical.
I have some reservations as far as your article is concerned.
The version of Interrogatio Iohannis in the Doat collection is by no means unknown ("une version inconnue du «Livre secret» des bogomiles", p. 148, and the title of the article), which, after all, you end up acknowledging yourself (p. 156). Not only it is known; it even is part of the up-to-date edition: the variants from Doat vol. 36 are duly included in the critical apparatus of the 1980 edition by Edina Bozóky (Le livre secret des Cathares, Interrogatio Iohannis: Édition critique, traduction, commentaire, Paris: Beauchesne 2009, 3rd edition; first ed.: Le livre secret des Cathares: Interrogatio Iohannis, apocryphe d’origine bogomile, Paris: Beauchesne 1980).
Strangely, any reference to Bozóky’s edition is lacking in the article, while it is the best edition available.
(A minor correction: Söderberg was Hans, not Hilmar: p. 149.)
It makes little sense to me to mention that in 1982, Bojidar Peytchev pointed to the version in Dôle, Bibliothèque municipale, ms. 109 (p. 149-150). This very manuscript is the basis of Bozóky’s critical edition in 1980!
Citing the (well-known) case of Peter Garcia as a proof of the influence of Catharism on the Franciscan order (if I get you right - p. 153: "On croyait jusqu’aujourd’hui, que les idées hérétiques des frères mineurs étaient vagues et les influences du catharisme secondaires") is misguided. It is a clear non sequitur.
