medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
My thanks to those who have responded. I now have links to 56 relevant manuscript facsimiles. I am by no means a specialist in saints lives, and the point of the page I will provide is the collection of facsimiles as resources. I was unable to find a number of those listed in the ARLIMA bibliographies, though I have a number not listed.

I am concerned at this phase only with collections of saints' lives in French vernacular. though I am certain I will consider individual saints' lives at a later point. I am somewhat dismayed at not finding a manuscript containing the Jean de Mailly's work (rewritten or summarized saints' lives).

Subject: Collected Lives of Saints in French Vernacular

I want to create a page on Collected Lives of Saints in French Vernacular  for

Manuscripts of Medieval France with Vernacular Texts
http://www.utm.edu/staff/bobp/vlibrary/frmedmss.shtml

As you know, the anchor for these pages is a list of relevant online medieval manuscript facsimiles.  I have links to 44 relevant medieval manuscripts from libraries and collections in several countries. I have been exploring the ARLIMA bibliographies, but have had mixed results going after the manuscripts cited. It is too bad the project "Lives of the Saints - The Medieval French Hagiography Project" has not been active. I was hoping to see some relevant ms facsimiles linked to their site.

Any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated.
