I've got PI's running datalogging and display tools, and longest has been
running for almost a year with no reboot.

I've also got a mix of pi's and windows stick pcs running displays, without
many issues.


As has been said cron job is your friend if you want to schedule a reboot.
  init 6    will do a reboot
