Bill Hello,
Hope this note finds you in good health.
I imagine that you probably will not recall, but we briefly met at a conference on Management History that took place in Lancaster some time back.
At any rate, I am contacting you with regard to the call for papers regarding Kurt Lewin.
I am interested in writing a piece about how Lewin's (Orthodox Jewish) upbringing and his familial and personal experiences surrounding his Jewish identity may have influenced his work.
I will note that in recent years I have been involved in research (and have published and presented) in the area of "Practical Wisdom for Management" based on Jewish sources and tradition.
I was interested in knowing whether this direction was one that seemed appropriate to you with regard to the upcoming volume concerning Lewin - and in general - if you had any thoughts regarding the matter (as I intend to pursue the matter further).
Best regards,
Avi Kay

Dear historians, please see this cfp. Kurt Lewin's influence, life and times are a perennially hot topic. Bernard Burnes' and my paper in IJMR, a top 10 business journal, on Lewin's field theory, was the 4th most downloaded paper this year.
And while I am vanity posting, here's a link to it.
Bill
