__________________________________________________________________________________________Instructor of Italian Texas Tech University invites application for a full-time position as Instructor ofItalian. Appointments for this position will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal basedupon successful performance, beginning fall semester of academic year 2016-2017. 
The teaching load is four courses per semester. Among the qualifications required forappointment is a Master’s degree in Italian or 18 graduate hours in Italian. Candidates mustdemonstrate interest and excellence in teaching Italian language at the college level. Dutiesinclude the promotion of Italian on campus and study abroad. Native or near-native fluency inItalian is required.
