We have two fundraising training events coming up which you may be interested in – please feel free to pass on the information to groups and organisations you are working with.
Fundraising - Make it Happen: Glasgow (For Ethnic & Cultural Minority Groups)
Saturday 19th March 2016, 9:15am – 5pm
Cost: £25/£50 + VAT (depending on the turnover of your group/organisation)
This one-day course is particularly targeted at ethnic and cultural minority groups and organisations and will raise awareness of the various funding sources available.
It will help you target the private sources of funding best suited to the work you want to do and outline the best practice methods of approach.
The training covers:
– Individual Giving
– Developing your Case for Support
– The Seven Steps of fundraising
– Making the Ask
– How to say ‘Thank you’
– A look at resources, tools and techniques
Together we will spend some time sharing experiences and concerns and discuss possible solutions within facilitated networking sessions.
