Hi
gem colleagues,
We have a couple of FREE under 5s sharing events coming up at the Museum of London, please see below for further details.
Under 5s and Digital
Wed 30th March, 10.30am - 4.30pm
Museum of London, London Wall site.
Do
you want to know more about how to use digital technologies with children under
5? Or maybe you have some great projects/ideas of working with this audience
and digital that you want to show off and share with other museum folks? Then
this sharing day is for you!
We
are holding a sharing event at the Museum of London looking at ideas
around working with early years and digital technology. This is an event
for those who are experienced in the field and those who are just starting out
and want to find out more about how to approach working with this audience and
digital technology. We will be sharing our own experiences at the museum, both
good and bad, and will hear from our colleagues from the Samsung centre at
the British Museum, as well as from under 2s expert and artist Brenda Coyle
about how to work with very young families and digital tech.
We
also still have a few spaces left on our under 5s storytelling sharing event
taking place next week, so do let me know if you'd like to attend this too.
Under 5s Storytelling Sharing Afternoon
Museum of London Docklands 1-5.30pm
Tuesday 15th March:
Come
and talk about different approaches to storytelling and hear from the Museum of
London and National Gallery learning teams how they use interactive stories to
engage under 5s and their parents and carers with collections. Additional
speakers TBC and will involve an interactive session providing lots of ideas
and chances for discussion
If you'd like to join either of these events, please give me an email at my work email address [log in to unmask], and I'll send you more information about the day.
Best
Wishes,
Clare
