Dear All,

Rob Imrie would like to draw attention to a series of events that the DisabilityResearchCentre  at Goldsmiths University of London will be hosting this month and in April and hope you can come along and/or advertise them.

These include: a series of workshops and a book launch on March 22nd, on themes relating to theatre, performance, and learning disability.  The relevant links are up on Facebook so, see:

Also, Professor Rosemarie Garland Thomson, is giving a lecture on April 6th, from 17:30 to 19:30 (BST):  "Habitable Worlds: Disability, Technology, and Eugenics”

There are discussions in place about setting up a ‘research café’ series of meetings next term as a focal point for people to meet to discuss research ideas, etc and more details will be forthcoming, and the DRC is looking to set up a film evening, perhaps a couple of films in April and May, again as a focal point for activities.

For further details about the DRC visit: https://www.facebook.com/DisabilityResearchCentre/

Best wishes,

Marian Hawkesworth
