ALISS http://www.alissnet.org.uk are pleased to announce an opportunity to visit the 

 

library and archive of the Religious Society of Friends in Britain which is the repository for one of the most important collections of materials in the world relating to Quakers and their activities. It includes materials relating to anti-slavery  activity, peace campaigning and conscientious objection during the First World War

 

The visit will offer the opportunity to view items from the collection and find out more about the services as well as to meet staff

There is no charge for aliss members
