We'd like to thank all archives who supplied us with information about collections that were taken in during 2015. The survey will be published on our website later this year. [http://i.emlfiles1.com/cmpimg/t/s.gif] Funding opportunities National Manuscripts Conservation Trust The NMCT offers grants for the conservation and preservation of manuscripts and archives. These grants ensure that important collections can be made accessible to the public and researchers. The programme is open to public sector and charitable institutions. Phase one deadline for applications is 6 May 2016. The MA is keen to fund projects at an early stage of development where it may be difficult to guarantee tangible outcomes, but organisations that are funded can become part of a network to develop ideas, share knowledge and build a legacy. The 20-year rule team has been inspecting all accessions returns from local authority places of deposit for any public records that may be eligible. Over a three year period, Art360 will support 100 modern and contemporary artists in the UK with funding of up to £6,000 each. Participants will be given a range of expert advice and technical support in developing sustainable systems to manage their archives and legacies for the future. Up to 30 artists will be selected in 2016. The deadline to apply is midday, Monday 4 April 2016.
