There is now just one week left to submit your abstract for a contributed talk at the Royal Statistical Society’s 2016 International Conference which will take place in Manchester from 5-8 September.

 

Submissions are welcome for talks or posters on any topic related to statistics and the use of data.  The deadline for talk submissions is 31 March.  Online abstract submissions can be made here.

 

The RSS Conference provides a unique opportunity in the UK for anyone interested in data analysis and statistics to come together to share information and network. The conference regularly attracts over 450 participants from all over the world, ranging from senior academic statisticians through to new graduates and postgraduate students, with strong representation from the public sector as well as statisticians and data scientists working in industry or as independent consultants.

 

Plenary speakers in 2016 will include Christl Donnelly (Imperial College London), Dame Anne Glover (former Chief Scientific Adviser, European Commission) and Xiao-Li Meng (Harvard University).  They are joined by Noel Cressie (University of Wollongong) who will give the Barnett Lecture.
