FACULTY OF HEALTH *THE NIHR RESEARCH DESIGN SERVICE (RDS) FOR THE WEST MIDLANDS (KEELE HUB)* *and* *THE HEALTH SERVICE RESEARCH UNIT (HSRU) AT KEELE UNIVERSITY*** RESEARCH ASSISTANT/RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN MEDICAL STATISTICS (Depending on qualifications and experience) Research Assistant Grade 6a (Starting salary £28,695) Research Associate Grade 7 (Starting salary £31,342) [dependent upon experience] Three years fixed-term The RDS (Keele hub) and the HSRU have a commitment to develop research and clinical capacity.We wish to appoint a Research Assistant/Research Associate in Medical Statistics to work with an established group of health service researchers to provide statistical support within our programme of work in both methodological and applied research.You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to: ** ·Provide methodological support and guidance in the area of quantitative research to clinicians wishing to access the West Midlands RDS, Keele Hub. ·Contribute to the application of statistical research methods and techniques within the range of studies being undertaken within the linked HSRU. It is anticipated that the post holder will spend approximately 50% of their time on each of the above areas of activity, and will be based at the HSRU Offices at Keele University.
