The Museums Association (MA) is introducing its new Code of Ethics to museum professionals at a series of roadshows across the UK. The MA's new Code was approved at the Annual General Meeting, which took place during the annual conference and exhibition in Birmingham in November.

The event will include a panel discussion chaired by Sharon Heal, Director, Museums Association, with:
Simon Chaplin, Director of Culture and Society, Wellcome Trust
Di Lees, Director, Imperial War Museum
Maev Kennedy, Journalist, The Guardian
Rowan Brown, Chair, Museums Association Ethics Committee

There is also an opportunity for training on a range of ethical issues, and the chance to network with other museum professionals.
