Dear All

Our endocrinologist has asked for hCG antibody testing for a male patient receiving Pregnyl (bHCG) therapy as part of treatment for hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism. The patient has been on this for a number of months and his dose has been significantly up-titrated. Despite this, no spermatogenesis as yet. The indication for testing is to determine if Pregnyl therapy should be changed to rLH therapy. Are any labs offering this test (nothing on AssayFinder)?

Many thanks
Phil
