Hi Linda,

I have this book and it is excellent. My purpose in asking for references
was because I am teaching a module on Western Esotericism and New Religious
Movements. I give the students readings that relate to seminar topics. In
one seminar, we were discussing ethnography and Paganism and a student
asked about ethnographic studies of esoteric practitioners/groups, people
who would describe themselves as occultists rather than Pagans. So, while I
can and have scanned book chapters on Paganism and Witchcraft for the
students to read, I was looking for other types of groups that have been
researched ethnographically (especially ones I might not be aware of). My
own research is on Irish Witchcraft and Paganism and so I am more familiar
with what has been published on these areas than I would be with what's
been published on Western Esoteric traditions that are separate from
Paganism.

With best wishes,

Jenny
