Summary
Based at the Strand Campus with its vibrant mix of academic disciplines, this appointment
is part of a longer-term investment strategy to provide additional expertise and leadership in interdisciplinary study of International Development in middle-income emerging economies of East Asia and Southeast Asia. The post will be split equally between
the Department of Geography and the International Development Institute at King’s.
Details
King’s College London seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer with a regional focus on
South East and/or East Asia and expertise in the field of International Development. We welcome applications from those working on topics that fall within the one or more of the following broad themes:
You will be able to demonstrate evidence of research and teaching in your chosen
field appropriate to appointment at Senior Lecturer level. We particularly welcome applications from social scientists applicants based in the disciplines of Geography, Anthropology and/or Sociology. Applicants whose research can demonstrate clear interdisciplinary
collaboration are particularly encouraged to apply.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 30 March 2016.
Interviews will be held from mid-April 2016.
