Dear colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to the course "Breakup - Envisioning an Alternative Architecture!" offered at the Bauhaus Summer School 2016 from 7 - 19 August.

The essential stage when we imagine, explore and grow, is too often stunted by the imposed moral, socio-political and legal boundaries; and so is the way we think about and practice architecture. How can we challenge this closed structure of perpetual reproduction and engage in imagining alternative architecture?

In a global world, marginal spaces become the places for experiment - interim, alternative, temporary, illegal, creative, unassimilated, transgressive, unordered and irrational - and exactly these architectural and urban ruptures are the key to answering this question.

The course at the Bauhaus Summer School 2016 is set to free our creativity. We promise political discussions, confusion, perceptual expansion, creativity and architecture.

For more information about the course and registration please see the link:

Best regards,
Srdjan
