And yes, on a SL6 machine I had no problems to get it working following the wiki. If you have time later, could you also write there if the wiki will be update if there are newer releases available that are recommended to be used? While it's not clear how old v6r14p5 is, 2015-09-03 sounds at least "old". A short statement about the parameters and that these are the currently recommended versions which will be updated if better versions are available, could be helpful. But that's not urgent and it works for now like it is described. I will post the dirac software specific items on the github page as you suggested.
