On behalf of organizers Thomas Herron, Valerie McGowan-Doyle, Maryclaire Moroney, and myself, we would like to extend an invitation to attend a two-day, multidisciplinary symposium, "John Derricke's Image of Ireland and Early Modern Ireland*,"* to be held at Case Western Reserve University and John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio on May 17th and 18th, 2016. The conference will generate conversations about the content, contexts, and reception of Derricke's famous, though understudied, poem and its accompanying prints.
