Hi all,

A colleague is trying to source some First World War weighing scales (i.e. ones for weighing people, not medicine) for our handling collection. Similar to http://www.the-saleroom.com/en-us/auction-catalogues/christies-south-kensington/catalogue-id-srchristi10017/lot-7190f7d9-6b91-48b1-b7b0-a3f700067a49 but British ideally

I was wondering if anyone had any for disposal, or knew where might be a good place to procure for a reasonable price—replica or original (council procurement systems do not like e-bay unfortunately!) Alternatively, whether anyone had any in their collections or handling collections they could loan for us for an event looking at conscription on June  4 this year.

Any advice gratefully received,

Many thanks,

Jude
