I can think of an academic journal or two that might do. Don't forget the bird cage lining application.
As for a world without print, how about going back to clay or stone tablets? (ark-ark).

The demise of print copy of The Independent and the possibility of other newspapers following suit makes me wonder what the next generation is going to use under the cat litter tray/dirty shoes/etc
